Life is moving pretty fast, right? 

Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR), one of the most researched and evidence-based programs for calming nerves, and Insight meditation, the technique it’s built on. Think of it as science meeting the ancient: tools to handle stress without needing a meditation cushion or a PhD.

The workshop is split into two parts. We’ll go through MBSR background and try body and breath techniques — simple methods to calm down anxiety.
Then, after the coffee break, we’ll get into Insight “mental noting”, a way to untangle thoughts like “worry” or “planning” without getting stuck in them. No jargon, no pressure to “clear your mind”. Just real talk and techniques you can use today: how to pause when work stress hits, walk mindfully through a noisy grocery store, or notice emotions without drowning in them. This workshop isn’t about fixing life, it’s about meeting its chaos using science-backed tools, a little more kindness, space, and maybe even a shrug or laugh.

Amit is an certified Indian yoga teacher and an expert in Hatha yoga, pranayama (Science of breathing control) meditation, and yoga nidra (Psychic sleep) and teaches yoga therapy classes for a sleeping disorder, emotion management, and deep relaxation.

Since 2005, Amit taught Yoga in China, Thailand, the Philippines, India, Portugal and Norway.  

Goal of this yoga class is the integration of the human personality at the physical, emotional, and spiritual level, developing a sense of well-being. Beneficial in stress control, emotion control, depression, for deep relaxation and inner healing.
Yoga practices include gentle yoga stretching (Asana) breathing practise (Pranayama) and psychic gestures (Mudra) and concentration (Dharana). Yoga is more than stretching- it’s a journey from body to mind.

Currently, Amit post doctoral researcher and scholar student at Institute of European Studies and International Relations at Faculty of Social and Economic Sciences.
