PROJECT PARTICIPATION
Comenius University plays a large part in international cooperation, and offers its members opportunities regarding lifetime study, especially when it comes to being a part of the Erasmus programme. The Erasmus mobility programme is controlled by the Comenius University Rectorate. For other projects regarding E+, OPE (Department for Erasmus+) is in charge of informing about offers, approving and overseeing projects, and solving any issues. For projects outside of E+ (and Horizont 2020), the IRO (International Relations Office) is responsible.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR THE APPLICANT
Comenius University can be a partner or an applicant. The approval procedure is the same in both cases. It is necessary for all documentation to be handed in ahead of time. The relevant documents must be signed by the Comenius University rector based on the documents submitted by the faculty.
DOCUMENTATION
- Aim of the project – is an internal form, attached as Príkaz rektora (Rector’s Order) and is available here.
The form must be filled out in Slovak and for internal replaces the project documentation for internal purposes (i.e. all boxes must be filled in, the project must not be referred to). The faculty dean must sign it. With this signature, the dean guaranteed that the faculty takes on all organizational, financial, or other responsibilities of the project.
- Letter of Intent signed by the decan – if it is part of the required documentation (i.e. CEEPUS projects)
- Letter of Endorsment (Mandátna listina)
- Cover letter (Sprievodný list), in which there will be information such as who is the authorized person for the purposes of coordinating documentation at the rectorate
PROCEDURE
An authorized person will deliver the documentation to OPE / IRO at the Comenius University Rectorate, who will give it to the rector to sign. Afterwards, relevant parts of the documents will be kept at the OPE / IRO as evidence. Documentation relevant to the project applicant, or for Brussels will be received by the applicant and they are then responsible for sending it.
All other information about the project (approval, finishing, etc.) must be announced immediately to OPE.
