Endorsement Letter

The basic goals of the Human Resource Strategy for Research (HRS4R) project are to increase the quality of human resource management, open up the opportunity to recruit more foreign researchers at Comenius University Bratislava and to make the University an attractive employer in the European research area by helping it earn the HR Excellence Award.

The first step towards the University's own human resource strategy for researchers - HRS4RUK - is to create the right conditions for the implementation of the European Charter for Researchers and the Code of Conduct for the Recruitment of Researchers.

The European Charter for Researchers is a set of general principles and requirements which specifies the roles, responsibilities and entitlements of researchers as well as of employers and/or funders of researchers.

The Code of Conduct for the Recruitment of Researchers consists of a set of general principles and requirements that should be followed by employers when recruiting researchers in an open, transparent and merit-based way.

On 6 January 2023, Comenius University Bratislava joined the scientific institutions of the European Union that received the "HR Excellence in Research" award.
