ENLIGHT Inclusion Award

We are thrilled to announce the commencement of nominations for the ENLIGHT Inclusion Award 2024! This award recognises the outstanding efforts of students who have demonstrated dedication to promoting diversity, inclusion, and accessibility through their projects, initiatives, or research.

Nominees must have conducted their projects between January 2023 and May 2024. We encourage submissions from across our ENLIGHT network.

To nominate a candidate, please provide a brief description of the initiative, including:

• the nominee's name,
• project title,
• time frame, project description (innovation, impact, inclusion of the target group, voice of a critical friend).

Nominations (in English) should be approximately 1/2 page in length and must be submitted by 7 June 2024 by e-mail to Kataryna Yakovenko, kateryna.yakovenkouniba.sk. 

Following the initial university-level selection process, three winners will be chosen by the ENLIGHT selection committee comprising representatives from our ten member universities. The selected winners will be invited to showcase their projects as poster presentations at the 4th ENLIGHT Teaching & Learning Conference in Tartu, Estonia, from 7 to 9 October 2024.

Disclaimer: While this award does not include a monetary prize and only covers the conference participation (travel, subsistence), the recognition and platform provided offer invaluable opportunities for personal and professional growth. Note that unlike the ENLIGHT+ Call, the Inclusion Award 2024 targets only students and initiatives realised only within one university.
