She was born on 20 August 1975. In 1999 she graduated from the Faculty of Law of Comenius University Bratislava, where she passed a rigorous exam in 2006. She completed her doctoral studies in commercial law at the Department of Commercial, Financial and Economic Law at the Faculty of Law of Comenius University Bratislava (FLaw) in 2013 by successfully defending a dissertation on the subject of statutory body responsibility.  In 2020, she successfully habilitated with a publication named "Obligation of loyalty (fiduciary duties) of shareholders in capital companies". Since 2013 she worked at the Department of Commercial Law and Economic Law of FLaw. She has also been a member of the Slovak Bar Association since 1999, having passed the bar exam in 2005. During her legal practice she has focussed on company law and commercial liability relationships specialising in construction projects, mainly from the aspect of public regulation (taxation according to EU directives, public procurement, bankruptcy and restructuring processes). She has participated in research projects at the University of Vienna, the University of Innsbruck, the University of Pittsburgh and is the recipient of a research grant for young researchers of the University of Vienna, the Ruth Crawford Mitchell Fellowship and a VGR Scholarship. In 2017-2019 she held the post of Vice Dean at the Faculty of Law for international relations and foreign language studies. She is Vice-Rector of CU since February 2019.
