The Election of the Comenius University Rector

There will be a meeting of the Comenius University Academic Senate, where the election of a new Comenius University Rector with a term in office from 1 February 2019 to 31 January 2023 will take place, on 14 November 2018 (Wednesday) at 9:00 am in the Comenius University Auditorium in Bratislava.

The candidates for Comenius University Rector are:

  • Professor Jozef Masarik, the current dean of the Faculty of Mathematics, Physics and Informatics (CV, priorities)
  • Professor Marek Števček of the Faculty of Law and the current Comenius University Vice-Rector for Legislation (CV, priorities)

This meeting of the Academic Senate is open to the public.
