Complementary information
Stabilization
Stabilization of rooms in the electronic system has been withdrawn as of April 4 2025.
Students with Specific Needs
Accommodation for applicants with specific needs will be allocated upon agreement with the Center for Support of Students with Special Needs (CPŠ), or they will be placed in the second group for room selection.
More detailed information can also be found on the website for students with special needs.
Deposit, rent
Only newly admitted students pay the advance deposit. We recommend you to pay the advance deposit as soon as possible to ensure it arrives to July 31 2025. Payment by postal order will not be accepted.
The deposit advance can only be returned if the applicant for accommodation cancels his request for accommodation in the accommodation system ubytovanie.uniba.sk by July 31 2025 and contacts the Coordinator for the Accommodation Process by e-mail.
We inform applicants for accommodation that the account to which you paid the deposit during the accommodation process is not used to pay the rent. The rent must be paid according to the instructions that can be found in the notice of accommodation allocation.
Room selection
Applicants who do not make a reservation by August 15, 2025, 19:59:59 will lose their right to accommodation.
On August 19, 2025, the cutoff line in the waiting list will shift by the number of available places.
Applicants who move above the cutoff line will then be allowed to select a room from the available capacity.
At this stage, all available rooms will be shown (taking into account gender), regardless of faculty affiliation.
Mixed accommodation
Requests for mixed-gender accommodation are first assessed individually – both students in the pair must be placed above the cutoff line in their respective faculty rankings.
The ranking for mixed accommodation will then be determined by the combined points score of both applicants.
If you have any questions related to the accommodation process (from application submission, deposit payment, room selection to notifications), feel free to contact the Center for IT Support – CEPIT.
For other inquiries (summer accommodation, prices, accommodation fee payments...), please contact the accommodation office of the specific dormitory directly.
Due to personal data protection, information regarding other individuals will not be provided.
