Complementary information

Stabilization

Stabilization of rooms in the electronic system has been withdrawn as of April 4 2025.

Deposit, rent

Only newly admitted students pay the advance deposit. We recommend you to pay the advance deposit as soon as possible to ensure it arrives to July 31 2025. Payment by postal order will not be accepted.

The deposit advance can only be returned if the applicant for accommodation cancels his request for accommodation in the accommodation system ubytovanie.uniba.sk by July 31 2025 and contacts the Coordinator for the Accommodation Process by e-mail.

We inform applicants for accommodation that the account to which you paid the deposit during the accommodation process is not used to pay the rent. The rent must be paid according to the instructions that can be found in the notice of accommodation allocation.

Room selection

Continuing international applicants will be included in the queue according to the same criteria as Slovak students, based on the quality criterion. They will be ranked in the queue of individual faculties according to their point totals. Applicants who are above the line will be divided into room selection on the 2nd and 3rd day.

Mixed accommodation

Applications for mixed student accommodation are first evaluated individually - both of the pair must be placed above the line in their faculty's waiting queue. Subsequently, the ranking in the waiting list for mixed accommodation is obtained by the sum of the point gain achieved by each pair of applying students.
