CU PARTNERS TO SUPPORT INNOVATION TRAINING
Comenius University Bratislava has signed a Memorandum of Cooperation with the civic association BioHive, expanding opportunities for its students to apply their talent in practice.
The partnership focuses on supporting CU students and PhD students in their growth through the Lifbee Academy platform, which runs an international educational programme and an incubator designed to nurture future innovators.
Its objective is to connect scientific knowledge, technology, entrepreneurship and societal needs into viable projects in areas such as Life Sciences, EnviroTech and AI. The collaboration will also strengthen links to the wider ecosystem, opening pathways to companies, NGOs, investors, and experts across disciplines, as well as to internships and collaborative projects.
CU students and PhD students will become part of a growing innovation community involving 30 organisations. Those who successfully complete the admission interview will be eligible for a scholarship in the form of a 25% reduction in programme tuition fees.
As both a teaching and research institution, Comenius University Bratislava is involved in hundreds of domestic and international research projects. Many students take part in high-level research during their studies, contributing to projects and grants or gaining experience through professional placements, including abroad. The cooperation with Lifbee Academy offers an additional pathway for their developmen, growth and future success.
