The ceremonial closing of the 52nd year of the Studia Academica Slovaca (SAS) summer school of Slovak language and culture will take place on Friday 19 August 2016 at 11 am in the Comenius University Auditorium. Summer school graduates will receive certificates of completion at the ceremony, which will be followed by a reception in the Moyzes Hall in the Faculty of Arts building across the road.

This year’s SAS summer school takes place from 31 July to 20 August.

SAS is the oldest university summer course of Slovak as a foreign language based in Slovakia. It opens the door to Slovak language and culture to foreigners working in the fields of Slovak Studies and Slavic Studies, students studying at universities abroad, cultural workers, managers, translators, and all others who are interested in studying Slovak language and culture and learning more about Slovak life and customs.
