FACULTY OF MANAGEMENT HAS BEEN RANKED AMONG THE MOST INFLUENTIAL BUSINESS SCHOOLS IN THE WORLD
Bratislava, December 1, 2025: The Faculty of Management, Comenius University Bratislava (FM CU) has achieved a significant international milestone, receiving four palms of excellence in the Eduniversal 2025 Global Ranking. This places us among the highest-ranked business schools in the world. Dean of the faculty Peter Štarchoň accepted the award at a gala event held November 10–13, 2025, in Indore, India.
The Eduniversal ranking evaluates international influence, reputation, quality of partnerships, and recognition among deans of leading business schools from more than 150 countries. In this year's edition, FM CU was promoted to the prestigious category of Top Business Schools with Significant International Influence, earning 4 out of 5 palms of excellence. "This is proof that even a Slovak faculty can set the pace in the European higher education league," says Dean Peter Štarchoň.
The faculty moved up from three to four palms thanks to its long-term building of international prestige, development of partner networks in Europe, Asia, USA, and Oceania, dynamic mobility of students and teachers, and excellent performance in scientific research.
"Faculty of Management strengthens the international prestige of the entire university with its progress in the Eduniversal ranking. This success reflects our ability to build globally competitive education and motivates faculties to further develop excellence in teaching, research, and international partnerships," added Rector of Comenius University Bratislava Marek Števček.
One of the faculty's most prestigious European collaborations is a new double degree program with the University of Bordeaux, one of France's leading research institutions. The collaboration with FM CU goes beyond student mobility: it integrates academic content, promotes teacher exchanges, and prepares graduates for career opportunities in both countries.
The unique model of teaching in three world languages—English, German, and French—also plays a significant role in the evaluation. Students at FM CU not only learn languages but also develop professional management and legal terminology and work directly on projects with international companies. "Our strategy is simple: students experience the world while they study, and the world notices us," said Lucia Vilčeková, Vice-Dean for International Relations.
Every year, the faculty welcomes more than 200 foreign students, who significantly expand the cultural and linguistic diversity of the environment. FM CU students, in turn, go on study trips to Europe, USA, Asia, and Oceania, gaining experience that is normally provided by Western institutions.
Today, the English program at FM CU offers students from around the world the opportunity to obtain a quality education in the field of management in English language. Currently, the faculty has students from more than 30 countries, including India, Nigeria, USA, Saudi Arabia, and Latin America, which allows them to develop global managerial thinking and establish international contacts during their studies.
