Associate Professor Lucia Mokrá is Re-elected as the Dean of the Faculty of Social and Economic Sciences
On 14 November 2018, Associate Professor Lucia Mokrá began her second term of office as Dean of the Faculty of Social and Economic Sciences at Comenius University. She was re-elected to the position on 12 September 2018 by the faculty's Academic Senate. The term of office will last until 13 November 2022.
Associate Professor Mokrá was the only candidate for the position of dean of the Faculty of Social and Economic Sciences, and ten of the eleven members of the Academic Senate were present.
As there was only one candidate, an absolute majority of senate members was required (i.e., at least six votes) in favour of her re-election. Associate Professor Mokrá received nine out of ten votes and was therefore re-elected to a second term in office.
Associate Professor Mokrá graduated from the Faculty of Political Sciences and International Relations at Matej Bel University in Banská Bystrica in 2003.
