Comenius University in Bratislava and the Embassy of Georgia warmly invite you to a lecture by the President of Georgia, Giorgi Margvelashvili, on the topic of "Security in the Black Sea Region as a Cornerstone of European Stability".

The lecture (in English) and discussion will take place on Monday, 15 May 2017, at 3.40 pm in Comenius University’s Rector’s Hall.

His Excellency Giorgi Margvelashvili studied at Tbilisi State University, where he received a degree in philosophical sciences. From 1993 to 1994 he continued his studies at the Central European University (Prague, Czech Republic) and from 1993 to 1996 at the Georgian National Academy of Sciences. In 1998 he received a Doctor of Philosophy academic degree from Tblisi State University. Since 2013 he has been the President of Georgia.
