Invitation to a Lecture by Distinguished French Virologist Dr. Raphaël Gaudin
We are pleased to invite you to a lecture by distinguished French virologist Dr. Raphaël Gaudin, entitled “Investigating the Molecular Mechanisms Underlying Viral Neuroinfection for the Development of Innovative Therapeutic Strategies”. The lecture will take place on 11 November 2026 at 10:00 a.m. in the Lecture Hall of the Theoretical Institutes at the Jessenius Faculty of Medicine, Comenius University in Martin.
Dr. Gaudin’s research focuses on the mechanisms of viral entry into host cells, intracellular trafficking, and the impact of viral infections on the nervous system. His work has been published in leading scientific journals, including Nature, Nature Communications, Nature Microbiology, and Science Advances.
The visit is part of a long-term scientific collaboration supported by the APPV SK-FR-24-0012 project, VEGA 1/0261/22, and a French Institute Travel Grant.
