Connecting research talents to business – 23rd November 2022, Bratislava
We are inviting you to the Final Conference of the CARLiS project and Matchmaking event for PhD students, companies, and other stakeholders. The event aims to provide opportunities for networking between PhD students, innovative companies, and other stakeholders in the life science sector predominantly in the region of Bratislava, Trnava and Vienna.
FINAL STAKEHOLDER CONFERENCE OF THE CARLIS PROJECT (9.00 - 12.00)
The conference aims to present the results of the CARLiS (Careers in Life Science) project and encourage discussion about the career development of PhD students with a focus on preparing them for career paths beyond academia.
Who should participate:
- Representatives of HE and research performing institutions, including both management and professionals in doctoral education, career support of researchers and collaboration with the business sector.
- Representatives of business associations and companies as well as representatives of local administration and other stakeholders from the regional eco-system interested in fostering collaboration between academia and the private sector.
MATCHMAKING EVENT FOR PHD STUDENTS, COMPANIES AND OTHER STAKEHOLDERS (13.30 – 17.00)
The aim of the event is to provide opportunities for networking between PhD students, innovative companies, and other stakeholders in the life science sector predominantly in the region of Bratislava, Trnava and Vienna.
Who should participate:
- Innovative companies active in the life science sector (active in areas such as human and animal health, pharma, health technologies, biotechnologies, agriculture, environment, technologies, and consulting for the life science sector etc.)
- PhD Students and young researchers with research or skills that could be interesting for innovative companies.
- Institutions and initiatives promoting research, career development of researchers and collaboration between academia and the private sector.
HOW TO REGISTER
You can read the full programme and register for both events via https://carlis-r2b.b2match.io. You can choose whether you want to register for the Final Stakeholder Conference, Matchmaking event or both, and you can choose even specific agenda points, also considering the type of participant you are.
Registration is open until November 16th, 2022. The number of places is limited, organisers might close the registration earlier in case all seats are filled.
