The Comenius University Rector visits the Jagiellonian University in Krakow

On 15 March 2019 the Jagiellonian University rector, Professor Wojciech Nowak, welcomed the Comenius University rector, Professor Marek Števček.

The meeting of the rectors in the Jagiellonian University's Collegium Novum was also attended by the Dean of the Faculty of Law, Professor Jerzy Pisuliński and the coordinator of the Jagiellonian University's School of Slovak Law, Michał Krudysz. 

The main purpose of Professor Števček's visit to Krakow was the ongoing cooperation between the two universities and prospects for further development. There was also discussion about issues related to the implementation of the new Polish Higher Education Act at the Jagiellonian University. 

Marek Števček also gave a lecture on Slovak civil law at the School of Slovak Law at the Jagiellonian University's Faculty of Law. Professor Števček is a foremost expert in civil law in Slovakia.
