Dear PhD. students,

Due to the positive development of the COVID-19 situation in Slovakia and associated safety measures of public health authorities – Comenius University in Bratislava will provide accommodation for those PhD. students who were accommodated in one of the university facilities (VI Družba UK/VM Ľ. Štúra – Mlyny UK) in the academic year 2019/2020, in the time period starting on June 8, 2020 (Monday) until August 31, 2020. The stated date may be changed according to the epidemiologic situation or based on safety measures issued by public authorities.

Application for accommodation has to be delivered via email to the facility where the student was accommodated in the year 2019/2020, no later than June 5, 2020. Given the current valid measures issued by the Public Health Authority of the Slovak Republic, hygienic and anti-epidemiologic measures, accommodation in the same room as before is not granted. Rooms will be assigned to PhD. students according to the current conditions. Applications will be attended to in the order of their delivery. If the capacity is filled, the facility does not have to accept new applications, nor does it have to accept applications sent after the due date. Due to the operational reasons, the lodging provider reserves the right to move the accommodated person into another room of the facility. No appeal concerning the room allotment is allowed. The price of accommodation is determined according to the valid pricelist in force of the student accommodation facility.

While applying, the student is obliged to attach a statutory declaration about non-existence of infectious viral disease symptoms.
