Comenius University is the best university in Slovakia

Comenius University in Bratislava is a modern European university with a one-hundred-year-old tradition, and it continues to be the best university in Slovakia. At thirteen faculties, it offers a selection of around 800 study programmes at all levels of study, many of which are unique. Every year, it sends on exchange to 32 countries the highest number of students of all Slovak universities, and it accepts the most students from abroad.

In the UniRank ranking, it assesses 34 Slovak universities which meet the following criteria: they are commissioned, licensed, or accredited by the relevant Slovak higher education organization; they offer at least a four-year higher education (bachelor's) or postgraduate degree (master's or doctoral degrees); and they provide courses in full-time, part-time, and distance forms.

In addition to Comenius University, the top five universities in Slovakia consist of the Slovak University of Technology (2nd), the Technical University of Košice (3rd), Žilina University (4th), and the Slovak University of Agriculture in Nitra (5th).
