Comenius university personalities are recognized by the slovak olympic and sports committee

The Slovak Olympic and Sports Committee met for its 56th general assembly in Bratislava and presented distinctions and annual awards to several people and institutions for their noteworthy contribution to sport. Among those recognized in this manner were personalities from Comenius University in Bratislava.

A Slovak Olympic and Sports Committee plaque was awarded to Professor Eugen Laczo from the Faculty of Physical Education and Sport and to the former Comenius University rector, Professor Karol Mičieta from the Faculty of Natural Sciences.

A Slovak Olympic and Sports Committee honourable mention was awarded to Professor Yvetta Macejkova from the Faculty of Physical Education and Sport.
