We inform first-year students that the ceremonial matriculation in the academic year 2025/2026 will take place in Aula Magna, Jessenius Faculty of Medicine, Comenius University, Malá Hora 4A.
- 15 October 2025 – Study programme General Medicine (taught in English)
13:00 – rehearsal
14:00 – ceremonial part
The Dean of JFMED CU in Martin, Prof. MUDr. Andrea Čalkovská, DrSc., grants Dean’s leave to first-year students of this programme from 12:00 to 16:00.
- 17 October 2025 – Study programme General Medicine (taught in Slovak), Dentistry, Non-medical study programmes and the University of the Third Age
08:00 – rehearsal
09:00 – ceremonial part
The Dean of JFMED CU in Martin, Prof. MUDr. Andrea Čalkovská, DrSc., grants Dean’s leave to first-year students of the study programmes General Medicine (taught in Slovak), Dentistry, and Non-medical study programmes from 07:00 to 11:00.
Attendance at both the rehearsal and the ceremonial part is compulsory.
In accordance with Article 3, paragraph 5 of the internal regulation No. 33/2024, Rector’s Directive of CU – Full wording of the internal regulation No. 1/2005, Rector’s Directive of CU on Matriculation and Graduation Ceremony Rules, as amended by Addenda Nos. 1–6, students are required to participate in matriculation exclusively in formal attire.
(Trainers, jeans, and other sportswear are not considered formal attire.)
