This summer semester, almost all Comenius University faculties will host a total of 136 students who arrive from 20 countries under the Erasmus programme. Most students arrive from Italy, Spain, France, Germany and Turkey.
During the event, students could learn more about the university, and were informed of the Studia Academica Slovaca summer school at the Faculty of Arts. They could also learn about the Erasmus Student Network (ESN).
The welcome ceremony takes place during the Welcome week for international students, which is organised by the Rectorate and the faculties to help the new students become a part of the university life. Events include, for example, intensive courses of Slovak, a guided tour of the city, various activities at the faculties and events organised by students themselves as part of the Erasmus Student Network of CU.
