THE REPRESENTATIVE OF FLAW CU AT THE OCTOPUS CONFERENCE 2023

The Octopus 2023 conference, organised by the Council of Europe, took place on 13-15 December 2023 in the impressive premises of the Palace of the Parliament in Bucharest, with the participation of Petra Dražová, Assistant Professor at the Institute of Information Technology and Intellectual Property Law.
The event is one of the largest platforms in the world, bringing together, on an annual basis, cybercrime experts from more than a hundred countries, working in leading international organisations, public and private sectors, non-governmental institutions, as well as in science and research.
The main focus of this year's conference was on the provision and exchange of electronic evidence, as well as on capacity building in the fight against crimes committed through information systems.
The exchange of knowledge on national legislation, application issues as well as the latest challenges in this field took place in two plenary sessions, fourteen workshops, three project roundtables, as well as a series of inspiring talks or informal discussions in English, French and Spanish.
